Frozen meat grinder, as the name suggests, is a meat processing equipment that grinds various frozen meats into granular shapes. It saves time, effort, and has good versatility, which is also very beneficial for preserving meat. So what are the principles and application points of operating a frozen meat grinder?
Working Principle:
During work, first open the materials and then discharge them. Due to the gravity of the material itself and the rotation of the screw feeder, the material is continuously sent to the edge of the cutter for shredding. Because the pitch of the screw feeder should be smaller than the pitch of the front part, but the diameter of the screw shaft should be smaller than the pitch of the front part, this will exert a certain pressure on the material, forcing the chopped meat to be discharged from the perforations on the cutting board.
In order to produce canned luncheon meat, it is necessary to roughly grind the fatty meat and finely grind the lean meat to change the mesh to achieve the requirements of coarse and fine twisting. The grille has several different sizes of perforations, typically with a diameter of 8-10 millimeters for coarse twisting and 3-5 millimeters for fine twisting. The roughly twisted panel is made of ordinary steel plate measuring 10-12 millimeters.
Due to the larger diameter of the coarse stranded wire, unloading is easier, so the speed of the spiral feeder can be faster than that of the fine stranded wire, but the maximum value does not exceed 400rpm. Usually at 200-400rpm. Because the total area of perforations on the grid is constant, that is, the discharge volume is constant.
When the feed screw speed is too fast, the material will clog near the cutter, resulting in a sudden increase in load and adverse effects on the motor. The cutting edge is conveyed along the cutting blade. The frozen meat grinder reamer is made of tool steel and requires a sharp blade. After a period of time, the blade becomes dull. At this point, the new blade should be replaced or re ground. Otherwise, it will affect the cutting efficiency, and even some materials will not be chopped and discharged, but will be squeezed and ground into a slurry, which directly affects the quality of the finished product. According to some studies, quality accidents of canned luncheon meat fat are often related to this cause.
Key points for operating a frozen meat grinder:
(1) The parts of the meat grinder should be cleaned before use.
(2) After assembly, turn on the power and wait for the device to operate normally before adding the meat chunks.
(3) Before cutting the meat, please cut it into small pieces (thin strips) to avoid damaging the machine.
(4) The added meat pieces must be evenly distributed and not too much to avoid damaging the motor. If the machine is found to be not working properly, the power should be cut off immediately and the cause should be checked after shutting down.
(5) If a fault such as leakage or fire is found, the power should be immediately cut off and an electrician should be hired for repair.
(6) Please turn off the power after use. Then clean the parts, drain the water, and store them in a dry place.
