AntiCorrosion Methods for Sausage Making Machine

The core anticorrosion principles for sausage making machine are: adopting 304 foodgrade stainless steel, thorough cleaning and drying after every use, avoiding chlorinecontaining or strongacid detergents, and applying foodgrade antirust oil for storage during idle periods.
1. Key AntiCorrosion Measures
Material Control: Components in contact with meat and parts subject to cleaning must be made of 304 or highergrade foodgrade stainless steel or foodgrade engineering plastics. Ordinary platediron parts shall not be used.
Immediate Cleaning and Drying: Disassemble removable components after each use. Wipe with soft cloth and pH 68 neutral detergent, then dry immediately or airdry completely. Do not allow residual water to remain.
Cleaning Prohibitions: Do not use steel wool, chlorinecontaining bleaching agents, strongacid rust removers, gasoline or other organic solvents. These will damage the passivation film and cause pitting corrosion.
Protection for Idle Equipment: For longterm shutdown, coat internal surfaces with foodgrade mineral antirust oil. Store the machine in a dry, wellventilated area, away from acids and alkalis.
Regular Maintenance: Inspect weld seams and sealing rings every week. Light rust spots can be gently polished with #400 or finer abrasive sandpaper, followed by cleaning and oil application. Severely corroded parts shall be replaced.
2. Operational Precautions
Wipe along the grain direction of stainless steel during cleaning. Crossdirection scratches shall be avoided, as they can initiate corrosion.
Residues of salt or seasonings should be softened with warm water prior to cleaning, to prevent localized corrosion caused by concentrated chloride ions.
For motordriven models, pay special attention to draining moisture from motor joints and screw gaps. Use compressedair blowing if necessary.
For householduse equipment: prioritize prompt cleaning and thorough drying after each operation. For commercialuse equipment: establish an Equipment Maintenance Record, and implement daily cleaning, weekly inspection and monthly maintenance regimes.
